Responsibilities
• Provide speech therapy care, including evaluating patients for treatment and administering care plans.• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to coordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning.• Instruct patients and caregivers in home program exercises and functional activities.• Assist with patient program management and deliver quality patient services.
Requirements
• Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting required.• Graduate of an accredited Speech/Language Pathology program or related field required.• Computer skills required.• Arizona License in professional area.• American Heart Association BLS required.• 2 years progressive experience in clinical area performing patient clinical care preferred.• Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area preferred.• Prior use of electronic health record preferred.
