We are seeking an individual with a consistent track record of experience to join the PMO as a Portfolio Specialist Sr. In this role, you will have a crucial role in our Transmission Services Business Performance and Project Management Department, where you will analyze and report on our multi-million-dollar project portfolio. Your ability to provide insightful analysis and recommendations will directly influence our success in implementing projects and accomplishing our objectives.
You will be trusted to: Perform detailed portfolio level reporting and analysis for executive management, internal customers, and project management staff. Assess and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Lead process improvements to enhance the accuracy and value of our portfolio services. Apply effective strategies and performance metrics to enhance project management and portfolio reporting. Solve complex problems and provide auditing and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project managers and relevant parties to ensure accurate and timely data correction. Cultivate strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service, promoting partnership and collaboration. You qualify with: Nine or more years of experience in business analytics, project controls, project management, or work package management, or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. Driver's license You are a great fit with: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and P6 Enterprise Portfolio Management. Proficiency in project management practices, including scheduling, budgeting, cost management, and controls. Experience in financial analysis, variance reporting, trend reporting, utilization, metrics, budget, and cost management.
