What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Provide support to production teams to help achieve production goals. Support the fostering of a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Implement containment actions short / long-term to address any deviations from the design of the vehicle / quality of parts. Collaborate closely with the body production and maintenance teams. Address equipment and communication issues promptly to minimize production delays. Ensure seamless integration between production, maintenance, and other relevant departments. Facilitate regular meetings between teams to discuss ongoing challenges and improvement opportunities. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in body production and maintenance. Conduct cross-departmental analysis of product launches to identify areas for improvement. Recognize and rectify bottleneck situations to optimize production flow. Provide instruction and guidance on required techniques and regulations. Track and coordinate special build events within the Pilot Hall body Team. Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. The role will be based out of a Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina, starting 2025. Until then, you will be required to be in the Novi, MI office frequently. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Minimum 3 years professional experience with expertise in automotive manufacturing engineering, production planning or project management. Extensive knowledge of vehicle engineering processes and understanding of manufacturing processes. Bachelor's/ master's degree in automotive technology, mechanical, electrical, software engineering or equivalent field. Proficiency in advanced programming languages such as C++, C#, Java or similar preferred Strong skills at organizational navigation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; adept at developing effective partnerships and relationships. Proficient in analytical and conceptual thinking, employing logic and reason in both creative and strategic contexts. Demonstrated ability in creative and strategic problem-solving, with experience troubleshooting vehicle systems. Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, displaying a high level of commitment, effective communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics. Competence in data management and data mining techniques. Possess a holistic overview of vehicle concepts and functions. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000-$130,000
