Special Education Teacher

Job Description:
As a contracted Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting middle school students (5th-8th grade) with diverse learning needs. This is a remote role, conducted via platform, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your own space.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students based on their individualized education plans (IEPs).
Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure the success of each student.
Conduct assessments, track progress, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education is required; Master's Degree in Special Education preferred.
Certification in Special Education within the state of Missouri is necessary.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education, preferably in a school-based setting.
In-depth understanding of various special education disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, and Emotional Disturbance.
