Position Details:
This opportunity offers a seamless interview-to-hire process, conducted virtually. Upon selection, a full contract for the school year awaits the right candidate. Here's what the role entails:
Duration: March 12, 2024 - May 24, 2024
Renewal Option: Extension for the ******** academic year is contingent upon performance.
Caseload: Middle and high school, focusing on grades 8th-9th.
Setting: Resource classroom environment.
Class Structure: Four periods with 1-4 students per period.
Case Management: Responsible for a caseload of 30 students.
Schedule: Full-time commitment (37.5 hours/week + 30 minutes lunch).
We are encouraged to apply, though it's not a requirement for this role.
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Special Education Teacher license is a must.
Previous school experience is preferred but not mandatory.
