Responsibilities: Instruct students who are deaf and blind, focusing on vision services and relevant instruction Serve as case manager for student IEP needs Develop and implement individualized lesson plans Facilitate parent engagement through home visits and workshops Collaborate in staffing and IEP meetings, aiding in goal development and assessment Participate in training sessions and workshops as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred) Utah Teaching Licensure with Visually Impaired endorsement (or willingness to complete within 3 years) Classroom teaching experience Proficient in managing IEPs and case management Located near Ogden, Utah or willingness to relocate Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on education and experience Comprehensive benefits package PTO and Sick Leave Retirement plan Monthly professional development opportunities Supportive work environment with ample resources for success At Goodwin Recruiting we are committed to our core values.
