THIS POSITION IS BEING STAFFED FOR 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR. START DATE IS AUGUST 12, 2024.
An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
6.5 hours/day
This position will remain open until filled. An initial screening of applicants will take place at 8:00 a.m. on February 12, 2024. Applicants who apply after that date will only be screened and/or interviewed if a successful candidate is not selected from the applicant pool that applied on or after the screening date. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is paraprofessional work that requires the teacher assistant to assist the classroom teacher in performing a variety of tasks after training, i.e., emergency plans, health-related plans/services, and carrying out instructional procedures. This position performs work under the direct supervision of the teacher, building administrator, and/or appropriate Special Education Department administrator.

SALARY:
Hiring Range: $22,424 - $35,431/year ($18.35 - $28.99/hour)* *Salary range is based upon the 2023-24 approved salary scale.
