() Special Education Instructional Health Assistants

North Bullitt is seeking three (3) Special Education Instructional Health Assistants to support teachers in instructing students with special needs. 
One (1) of the positions are 6.5 hours per dayand 170 student instructional days, 4 paid holidays, 7 planning days and 2 extended days for a total of 183 days per year.  Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.  (Considered full time with benefits - see below)
Two (2) of the positions are 6.25 hours per dayand 170 student instructional days, 4 paid holidays, 7 planning days and 2 extended days for a total of 183 days per year.  Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.  (Considered full time with benefits - see below)
Must have 48 semester hours, an Associates Degree or have a high school diploma and have passed the paraeducator assessment exam.  Must provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire. Step 0: $14.85 per hour
Step 10: $18.28 per hour
New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE:  It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.) Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks.  This position is considered a tenmonthemployee on the pay schedule.  4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.

Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave
Earn 2 more sick days if you do not use any sick leave during school year
