Responsibilities
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to ensure appropriate educational services for students.• Serve as a resource person for admission, review, and dismissal (ARD's) committees as needed.• Utilize multiple special education platforms and software to document tasks and progress of students, programs, and projects.• Stay up-to-date with federal and state regulations regarding special education and assessment practices.• Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Special Education Coordinator.• Knowledge and experience in various special education platforms and software.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, Special Education therapists, other school staff, and parents.• Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced classroom environments.• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple school locations, as needed.
