The Position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Director to identify qualified sales opportunities for SEI Laser products (primarily) as well as serve and expand any existing accounts in the Southeastern territory. Responsibilities will be to:
Achieve weekly & monthly prospecting and sales objectives for net new business
Specify and quote equipment based upon the prospect's application and budget
Work with factory representatives to develop opportunities and close sales
Host customer visits to customer installations in the USA/Canada/Mexico and SEI Laser's factory demonstration center in Italy as well as machine build update meetings, FAT's, SAT's and project follow up
Update and maintain CRM with sales activities, contacts and lead information
Prepare sales forecasts, project reports and present company offers
Stay current with industry trends and developments to seize new market opportunities
About You:
You have 3+ years of experience in converting machinery or capital equipment sales and have generated annual sales of over $1,000,000.
Label, Folding Carton, Acrylic, Wood, Technical textile printing experience is a plus.
You constantly strive to take your business acumen up to the next level through study and
learning and can absorb multiple product line knowledge You are a hunter and motivated to perform at your highest level
You can influence and persuade others to include the ability to effectively communicate
with all levels from the factory operations to Owners and C-Suite. You work well under pressure to execute moderate to high capital sales transactions
Your patience, tenacity and professionalism help you endure long term, complex sales cycles
You have demonstrated success with penetrating new markets, establishing new customer contacts and
