Responsibilities
• Assist Head Chef in food preparation and cooking• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure food quality• Create and implement menus• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen• Manage inventory and food costs• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations• Train and mentor junior chefs• Collaborate with team to develop new recipes• Contribute to menu planning and pricing• Handle customer concerns and complaints
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a fine dining kitchen• Sous Chef experience preferred• Strong culinary skills and knowledge• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment• Excellent communication and leadership skills• Attention to detail and creativity• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations• Ability to multitask and prioritize• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays• Culinary degree or equivalent experience
