We're currently seeking a Sonographer to join our amazing team.
Details of the Sonographer opening: Anticipated start date: 07/08/2024 Salary: $2572.97 - $2971.48 weekly Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks Anticipated schedule: Days Enjoy peace of mind knowing you can elect Day One Medical Benefits Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Sonographer: Explain sonographic procedures to patients, answer questions, prepare patients by applying the gel to the skin, and position the patients on the table. Ensure clear images for diagnostic purposes and adjust the sonographic equipment when necessary. Select appropriate settings and adjust patients' positions accordingly. Monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures. Present the sonograms and preliminary findings to the Physicians. Complete all appropriate documentation and maintain patients' medical records. Assist Physicians during invasive procedures. Maintain and clean the sonographic equipment. Perform medical procedures, such as administer oxygen, take vital signs, and give emergency treatments. Qualifications for the Sonographer: Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor's degree program in Sonography. ARRT certification. Two or more years of current experience as a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist. Current BLS/BCLS certification.
