Position Summary:
The Solutions Engineer AV/VTC spearheads the creation of cutting-edge IT solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of the federal government's missions. Utilizing Solutions Engineer AV/VTC expertise across Command-and-Control rooms, Multi-Classification Domains, Teams Integrations, Conference Rooms, and Training Environments, you'll craft groundbreaking solutions that set our company apart from competitors. Your extensive experience in supporting Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) like Cisco, Crestron, AMX, Extron, BiAmp, Flat Panels, and Video Wall Manufacturers is pivotal to your success.
The Solutions Engineer AV/VTC collaborates closely with clients and sales teams to grasp their requirements and propose innovative technologies that enhance business outcomes. Throughout this process, ensuring alignment with the company's business strategy and capturing end-user needs remains a top priority. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, from initial customer engagement to post-sales support. Conduct technical assessments of customer environments to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the capture management and sales team to review complex statements of work. Design and present IT solutions to federal government clients, utilizing your technical expertise and collaboration with internal teams to ensure alignment with the company's product strategy. Work closely with project managers and implementation teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and the satisfaction of our federal clients. Leverage OEM, partner, and other business relationships to increase business revenue and margin through information technology solutions sales. Deliver presentations to customers, partners, and prospects. Provide high-level and detailed consultative solutions, technical support, and sales support for identified opportunities. Serve as a technical subject matter expert for OEMs such as Cisco, Crestron, Biamp, and Planar products and solutions, providing guidance and support throughout the sales cycle. Drive the development of configurations and technical proposals for assigned opportunities. Actively participate as a technical specialist in specific areas as directed. Understand customer requirements and be able to translate them into technical requirements. Work closely with the outside sales team to architect solutions based on generic or/specific customer requirements. Serve as primary technical point of contact for assigned customer base. Participate in industry events, conferences, and other technical forums to stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies. Travel onsite to customer facilities and industry events as needed. Any other duties needed to drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Values. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Active DOE/DOD clearance or clearable. Bachelor's degree and minimum of 6 years AV/VTC experience or high school diploma and a minimum of 10 years AV /VTC experience Must hold industry-recognized IT certifications (CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I) or the ability to obtain/re-obtain certifications. Experience in a customer-facing role, either remote or face-to-face. Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with external partners. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal instruction and supervision. Knowledge of federal procurement processes, security regulations, and compliance requirements. Ability to prioritize your daily workload, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess a sense of urgency when required to meet deadlines. Ability to react to multiple, changing priorities on short notice. Demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills. Experience with leading OEMs such as Cisco, Crestron, Biamp, and Planar. Experience with the Department of Defense (DOD) and other Federal agencies' classified and unclassified environments. Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) TEMPEST, STIGS and DISA APL requirements. 2D CAD drawing development (Visio or equivalent) Must be comfortable working independently and remotely.
