Solutions Consultant
The Solutions Consultant is a pre-sales consulting and sales enablement role who serves as a strategic member of our go-to-market strategy. Solution Consultant use their curiosity and communications skills to learn each customer's needs, and apply in-depth Parallax product knowledge to educate and guide customers towards a successful kick-off with our industry-leading offerings.
As a Solutions Consultant, you will collaborate with Parallax Account Executives to strategize and communicate the overall value proposition of our products and services to prospective buyers in support of key outcomes that are critical to their growth and success. You will leverage and contribute to a wealth of thought leadership content, product marketing outreach, and sales artifacts which clearly articulate our product value and buying process to prospective customers. 
From a technical perspective, you will gain and maintain product expertise and become a sought-after subject matter expert in multiple valuable product and market segments. You will work across departments to stay aligned with and provide valuable feedback to product management, customer success and product marketing teams. Your unique perspective of our evolving product market fit will influence emerging features and improvements for our product.

2+ years in Solutions Engineering / Solutions Consulting or other technical Sales Support roles Strong knowledge of the professional service business, including sales and delivery operations Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle in a Software Product company Experience working with or for digital consultancies, digital agencies, or custom software development organizations Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail-oriented Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals Responsibilities As a Solutions Consultant, your weekly cadence will contain the following responsibilities:
Product Demos - you will prep and lead product demos to prospective customers. This can include the technical preparation of demo-ready accounts, data, and scenarios as appropriate for each customer.

  Proposal Presentations - you will collaborate with account executives to develop and present product proposals that clearly articulate key capabilities, cost, value, and ROI.

  Competitive analysis - you will contribute to an ongoing knowledge base of competitive analysis so that you, other SAs, and the greater sales, marketing and product teams understand how our product is perceived and positioned in the market.

  Sales strategy and account planning - you will be a key partner in the sales strategy for each prospective customer, and will provide valuable technical perspective that helps us win.

  Technical objection handling - As a product expert, you will support the sales strategy and drive towards positive sales outcomes by using your expertise and empathy to guide customers towards a thorough understanding of our product's capabilities.

  Trusted advisor - You will embody Parallax's values and represent our product capabilities in a manner that elevates you as a trusted advisor to our sales team and customers alike.
