Solutions Analyst
Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Winona, MN or West Chester, OH
Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm
15 - 28 hours/week
OVERVIEW:
Working as Part-time Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for working closely with our Fastenal Automated Supply Technology (FAST) Solutions programs. You will learn how Fastenal develops, launches, and manages various technologies to maintain leadership within industrial distribution. You will sit side-by-side with team members, learning about contract administration, project management, operations, and innovation. You will monitor, measure, research, and report information related to various FAST Solutions projects and performance. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Gathering and analyzing data used to compile into reports to support and make business decisions
o Determining and documenting business process requirements for all projects and initiatives
o Coordinating projects from agreement through product testing and assembly in preparation for installation
o Reporting on various projects through planning and implementation phases, which includes regular project progress update to all stakeholders
o Providing market research on product features and benefits
o Processing agreements from various countries around the world
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing or a related field of study OR 1 year of relevant work experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
