Solution Architect Job Description:The Solution Architect is responsible for governing the functional End-State solutions, roadmap, programs/projects, and day-to-day maintenance support of supply chain planning and manufacturing business processes. You will define Program and Project plans necessary to reach Solution Portfolio Roadmap goals, including Process and Integration scope.
What you will do as a Solution Architect:
Develop and maintain the Solution Portfolio Roadmap for supply chain planning and manufacturing suite of solutions, including cloud offeringsRecommend new innovative solutions, enhance existing solutions, and decommission obsolete solutionsManage overall efficiency and global harmonization of the supply chain planning and manufacturing suite of solutionsFacilitate governance for related master data, processes, and solution standards of the Solution PortfolioSupport and/or drive dashboarding and visualization to enable analysis and action-oriented reportingEstablish a collaborative relationship with SIOP and planning organization to deliver high-quality strategic solutions that enable enterprise process efficiency, visibility, insights, and structureMaintain relationships with global affiliates & BUs for systems that are global in scopeApprove and prioritize Change Requests for business processes of the supply chain planning and manufacturing Solution PortfolioServe as the last line of Maintenance support for complex Problems reported within the supply chain planning and manufacturing Solution PortfolioIdentify resource and competence gaps and provide direction to the Maintenance organization for closing them
What you will bring to the role as a Solution Architect:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a similar discipline5+ years of experience administering cloud-based applications supporting the forecast to schedule and plan manufacturing processes - S/4Hana and SAP IBPExperience working with IT service platformsExperience supporting technical integrations through platforms, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is preferredExperience in a global, complex, multi-national manufacturing environment is preferredWillingness to travel
