Responsibilities
• Perform soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, assembly, disassembly, touch up, rework, cleaning, and minor modifications• Use electronic parts and components and a variety of hand tools• Work from approved visual aids, change notices (CN's), deviations, and routes• Move completed product to the next production operation• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of printed circuit boards, harnesses, subassemblies, and assemblies• Inspect assemblies after machine soldering and completing required paperwork, logs, and records• Responsible for soldering of electronic components into assemblies following J-STD-001 workmanship processes• Perform visual inspection of PCB's to IPC-A-610 criteria• Assemble components and housing units in accordance with routes, visual aids, change notices (CN's) and deviations• Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly
Requirements
• Familiar with Manufacturing Processes and Workmanship Standards• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English• Ability to use various hand, air, and soldering tools• Ability to identify electronic components• Ability to frequently lift/carry products weighing up to 50 lbs• Ability to use manual dexterity and basic mathematics• Ability to work with a microscope and other magnification devices as needed• Ability to work with others and with minimum supervision
