Solar Assistant Controller - Project Accounting will oversee financial operations and lead fiscal management of projectsEvaluate project performance and provide analysis to project managers and finance departmentEnsure compliance with accounting regulations and optimize efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes

Responsibilities
• Orient, train, counsel, and communicate job expectations to Project Accountants• Oversee day-to-day operations and project life cycle from set up to close out• Prepare and review contractor billings and advise on complex billing issues• Review and manage project-level financial reports• Establish and maintain organization processes and procedure manuals• Manage cost forecasting process with Project Accountants and Senior Project Management• Oversee Project Level Accounts Payable and vendor management• Participate in development and implementation of changes to key processing systems• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and stay up to date with changes in construction accounting standards• Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Project/Financial Accounting/Solar Background
