Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a dynamic andexperienced Presales Solution Consultant to support our Life Science industrycustomers, specifically in regulated process industries such asPharmaceuticals, Chemical, and Food & Beverage. In this client-facing role,you will work closely with our Sales team to provide technical assistance andexpertise to direct customers.As Presales Solution Consultant, you will lead value-basedconversations, assessments, and demonstrations that address system architectureconsiderations and enable unlimited complexity. By adopting innovativetechnologies and managing cross-functional interfaces, our customers will reduceengineering costs while maintaining data quality. Your understanding ofregulated process industries and customer needs will allow you to deliverprescriptive solutions through presentations and software demonstrations.Responsibilities:Deepen your understanding ofregulated process industries, including Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, and Food& Beverage industries.Conducttailored technical presentations and demos that focus on business value.Mapcustomer requirements to Siemens' capabilities and solve problems using ourproducts.Prototypecustomer processes within Siemens' software.Lead customer workshops andconsultatively assist in technical conversations and customer adoption of oursolutions.Serve as the technical point ofcontact during evaluation and demonstration periods, bridging the gap betweencustomers and internal engineering.Respond promptly andprofessionally to support requests fromPresales andSales, including presentations, demonstrations, assessments, benchmarks, ROIanalysis, project roadmaps, and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).Travel to client locationsthroughout North America and globally for onsite visits and workshops.Continuous improvement of Siemens'technical presentations and software demonstrations.Transfer industry knowledge tosales professionals and other solution consultants.Maintain an up-to-dateunderstanding of product capabilities and communicate gaps to ProductDevelopment.Required Background/Skills, Education and Experience:*Must currently reside in the continental United States at this time.  This is a very firm requirement.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering,Material Science, or a related discipline.5+ years' experience performing requirements analysis andspecification development, preliminary design and detailed design of complexsystems in regulated process industries, such as Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, andFood & Beverage industries.Strong preference for Pharma experience and background.Strong R&D, product development and/ormanufacturing experience with experience with digital systems on multipleprojects.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the abilityto articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong clientrelationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability tounderstand client needs and develop creative solutions.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to managemultiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for technology anddriving business results.High level of initiative, teamwork, flexibility, willingness tolearn.Ability to travel up to 50%, with a varying travel scheduledepending on needs of the business.Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization nowor in the future for employment in the United States.Preferred Background/Skills, Education and Experience:10+ years of technical experience in application development,solution engineering, presales, or consulting services in regulated processindustries, such as Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, and Food & Beverageindustries.Experience in a pharma regulated (EMA or FDA) environment.Experience working with validatedapplications in the Life Sciences sector and understanding of CFR part 11requirements.Experience developing datapipelines and integrating enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, PLM, PDM, QMS,LIMS, ELN, MES, and manufacturing shopfloor applications.Experiencewith using public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experiencewith using Agile methodologies in a regulated environment.Experiencewith Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) software tools.Understandingof UML and/or SysML modeling languages.Understandingof ARCADIA methodology for system architecture modeling.Join our teamand make a direct impact on businesses in the Life Sciences industry.
