Responsibilities
• Design, code, and implement software modifications• Improve reliability and maintainability of software• Isolate and correct software faults and inefficiencies• Perform studies and make recommendations for replacement hardware/software• Support operational activities using system resources
Requirements
• BS in Computer Science or 8+ years of software engineering experience• 2+ years of software development experience or 8+ years without a degree• Proficient in C# and familiarity with .NET framework• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming• Experience with source control and writing clean code• Test Driven Development and unit test experience• Excellent written and oral communication skills• US Citizen and Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one• Must possess a valid driver's license• Ability to speak, read, and write English• Desired candidate to reside in Las Vegas area
Key Skills Needed
• C++ development experience• Unreal Engine development experience• 3D graphics programming in WebGL, OpenGL, or similar APIs• 2D/3D mapping, terrain rendering, or GIS skills• Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) experience• Recent development of multi-threaded applications• Implementing asynchronous communications in networked applications• Experience with relational databases and data access layers• Experience with logging or any logging framework• Implement and maintain network infrastructure
