Software Development Engineer, Social Marketing

Your expertise will be pivotal in integrating enhanced previews, tailoring content recommendations based on user sharing data, and elevating the overall user experience. As an Engineer, you'll be taking a leadership role in defining and delivering the future of sharing on Amazon.You'll collaborate closely with UX designers and product managers to optimize the sharing journey and eliminate any friction. You'll also explore new opportunities to leverage valuable sharing data for social proofing and improved recommendations.

A day in the life
On a day-to-day basis, you'll evaluate new sharing opportunities, define technical solutions, and manage deliverables. You'll also mentor more junior engineers, influence architecture decisions, and present your work to senior leadership.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
