Essential REsponsibilities and duties
The person in this role will report to the team lead and will perform activities consistent with the position of a Software Developer which will include, but are not limited to:
Build and maintain applications across various devices-from working on back-end data collection and app architecture to implementing UI.
Develop feature enhancements and fix web applications for client-side technologies.
Apply industry best practices to the software development life cycle (SDLC) employing methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and DevOps concepts.
Identify and resolve complex database-related issues in a team-based environment.
Conduct code/configuration reviews ensuring high quality well documented solutions.
Support and enhance production systems, performing root cause analysis
Additional responsibilities as they relate to the position and needs of the department.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
2-5 years of progressively responsible experience in the SDLC of production systems.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: .NET, C#, SQL, VB.Net and JavaScript; Familiarity with Entity Framework and CRUD operations.
• Experience with TDD and source control tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio.
• Experience working with relational databases with proficiency writing queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Preferably Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience working with older .NET web development technologies like jQuery, ASP.Net MVC, Web Forms, etc.
• Experience leading SQL/Database and DevOps initiatives and processes in a continuous delivery environment; knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of UI programming technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks; SOAs and APIs; and IT architectures and technical standards.
• Knowledge of application server operating systems and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to communicate well with all stakeholder levels (technical and non-technical) to understand and address requirements and enhancements.

Benefits
The salary for this position depends upon your qualifications, experience, skill levels, technical competencies, and other criteria. $95,000 - 120,000. Straight-time overtime is sometimes available. Here are some of our other benefits:

Location & Work Environment
This position is full-time and can be fully remote from within the USA or you can work hybrid in Lansing, Michigan, onsite approximately 1 to 2 days per month. At A.J.
