As a Redshift Software Development Engineer, you will build systems that orchestrate and manage Redshift clusters across the world. You will take significant ownership on the overall product vision by defining new features and architecture. You will distill complex and ambiguous requirements, converting them into meaningful projects that provide immense customer value. You will own code end-to-end from design, development, deployment, monitoring, and operations. You will lead engineers to tackle interesting problems and help develop a flourishing team through active mentoring and hiring.
Our team focuses on providing Redshift customers with high availability through intelligent operations and cost-utilization systems that minimize downtime while enabling industry-leading price performance. At the same time, we continuously improve Redshift usability and performance through API-based access and ML-driven query analysis and cluster usage recommendation. - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
