Assist in the development of tools and processes to support AFRL Eglin Digital Engineering and Digital Transformation initiatives. Participate in software development, including writing, testing, and debugging applications across multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript). Implement DevOps practices, focusing on automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Collaborate with team members to develop software requirements and design documents. Maintain and update existing software applications to enhance functionality and fix bugs. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and efficient software delivery. Document software development processes, including design specifications and test plans. Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software on time and within scope. 1-3 years of experience in software development and DevOps. Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript). Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines. Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and technical leads. Experience working in an Agile team environment. Familiarity with DevSecOps processes. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science). Experience with SQL or other database technologies. Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies. Desired Skills & Experience: Understanding of weapon systems (i.e., aircraft, munitions). Experience with Python and MATLAB development. Master's degree in a technical discipline. Knowledge of software development best practices and industry standards. Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions.
