Description SAIC is looking for a talented Software Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot to join our team supporting the Department of Veteran Affairs. This is a full-time remote role. Veterans are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical discipline with 2+ years of related experience; an additional 4 years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree. Required Skills: Proficiency Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
Preferred experience in Rest Services, Cucumber/Gherkin, and JPA
Experience developing software unit tests and component level tests
Teamwork and collaboration
Software development, modeling, simulation, testing, and quality assurance.
Effective communication
Desired Skills: Knowledge related to developing automated test scripts
Experience with micro services and working in cloud based technologies.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum Environments
