Social Worker Intern - Sy

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated and compassionate Social Worker Intern to join our team and support school districts across Illinois. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring social workers to gain handson experience working with students families and school staff. As a Social Worker Intern you will assist in addressing the social emotional and behavioral needs of students helping to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities: Assist in conducting assessments to identify students social emotional and behavioral needs.
Support the development and implementation of individualized intervention plans.
Provide individual and group counseling to students under the supervision of a licensed social worker.
Collaborate with teachers administrators and other school staff to support students academic and social success.
Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings including IEP and 504 meetings.
Help coordinate services with external agencies and community resources.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
Support family engagement activities and assist in communicating with parents/guardians about their childs progress and needs.
Participate in professional development and training opportunities provided by the school district and Clarifi Staffing Solutions.
Requirements Currently enrolled in a Master s program in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sensitivity to the diverse needs of students and families.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Basic understanding of social work principles ethics and practices.
Reliable punctual and committed to professional growth and development.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
