Job Description: Responsibilities: Serve as a full-time faculty member, teaching trauma-informed clinical content for MSW program. The incumbent would be expected to teach courses totaling (19 graduate credit hours) that include, but are not limited to, Advanced year MSW courses with an emphasis on clinical content.  Instruct courses in the MSW program at the Foundation and Advanced year level in an asynchronous manner. Assist with the CSWE reaccreditation process, program development and growth, program assessment, and curriculum design and delivery. Attend two Professional Development Labs during the academic year remotely. Maintain Licensed Independent or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker ( LISW / LICSW ) status in the State of Minnesota. Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs. Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field. Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities. Contribute to student growth and development including student advising. Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community. Required Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications :
MSW Degree from a CSWE accredited program. LICSW (preferred) or other social work license in the State of Minnesota by the position's start date in August, 2024. Minimum of two-years post- MSW degree trauma-focused clinical practice experience. Demonstrated record of scholarly and/or creative work. Commitment to community engagement and involvement. Prior experience using online technology and learning management systems. Demonstrated commitment to graduate student advisement. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications :
Earned doctorate in social work or related discipline by start date in August 2024 Program/curriculum development experience. Minimum two-years of experience teaching trauma-informed clinical social work courses Prior experience teaching in an online or hybrid MSW program. Skills/ability to integrate various technology to enhance learning and teaching. Demonstrated experience employing, assessing, and/or developing various trauma-informed practices. Demonstrated experience in design and delivery of asynchronous MSW courses. Demonstrated commitment to the integration of diversity, research, policy, practice communities' expertise, and practice immersion experiences throughout the curriculum. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, and engage well with, diverse students, faculty, administrators, and community partners. An ability to effectively collaborate with program colleagues, students, and community partners. Skills/ability to integrate technology to enhance learning and teaching. Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching. Other Requirements: A complete online application will include:
