Job Title: Social Media Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our digital presence and brand engagement across various platforms. As the Social Media Specialist, you will collaborate with our dynamic team to develop and execute innovative digital marketing strategies.
Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage digital marketing content across multiple channels to bolster employer branding, increase brand visibility, and drive traffic in alignment with company objectives.
Maintain and update websites using industry-leading practices for HTML, CSS, CMS, Bootstrap, and WordPress.
Strategize, create, and schedule engaging social media content for platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more, while staying abreast of emerging trends in web design, video production, and social media.
Curate, post, analyze, and moderate organic social media content across diverse platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and upcoming platforms, particularly within the Consumer Brands sector.
Execute social media posts according to the company's content calendar, transforming concepts into captivating videos, images, infographics, and text captions.
Offer insights on optimal media formats, placements, and best practices to drive performance, continually monitoring industry trends and exploring new platforms for responsible expansion of our social media footprint.
Lead employee and customer engagement on company social media platforms, promptly responding to feedback, inquiries, and concerns.
Track and analyze digital media analytics and metrics, providing actionable recommendations for improvement based on data insights.
Undertake additional duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in utilizing various analytical tools to track and report performance metrics, with a focus on making data-driven improvement recommendations.
Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro).
In-depth knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategies.
Proven track record in creating compelling content across diverse social media platforms, including Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Ability to translate concepts into captivating digital content while maintaining brand voice and identity.
Extensive familiarity with popular social media platforms and tools.
Previous experience as a Social Media or Digital Marketing Specialist, with a minimum of three years' experience, including managing social media platforms and utilizing analytical tools for optimization.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and visual communication skills, with a background in crafting social media copy and adhering to best practices.
Effective digital media communication skills, including experience in community-building and de-escalation techniques.
