The Social Media Intern will report to the Senior Social Media Specialist and will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the marketing department. This includes community management, social listening, assisting with brief creation, and more.
Our ideal Social Media Intern has exceptional oral and written communication skills. He or she can develop and execute engaging and unique content and has great customer service skills. This role will act as the voice of the brand and assist in management of content and community across all social media platforms.
Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner. You will be working across all our brands and must be able to pivot and adapt in our fast paced environment Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews Ensure brand consistency by communicating with Marketing, Creative, Influencer/PR, and Customer Service teams Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists Stay informed on digital and social trends, presenting these back to the team with any initial application ideas Regularly monitor social activity, reporting on any changes that need to be made Assist on one of the following channels on a monthly rotation – Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest or YouTube. Strategize new ways to increase performance and upkeep evergreen content on these channels Assist with campaign brief creation and coming up with fresh new ideas to execute Regularly review analytics and provide suggestions/solutions based on these analytics Capture social first content for our Instagram and TikTok, including at local retailers Accept other responsibilities as they come with an "all hands on deck" attitude Requirements Passion for social media and marketing Proficient in social media platforms: Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube Excellent eye for detail Ability to work as a team, ready to support one another and regularly collaborate Excellent communication skills Excellent time management and organization skills Must be able to work in office 4 days a week Benefits of working as a Social Media Intern in Louisville, KY:
