Social Media Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team and support our marketing efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the education and technology sectors. This is a paid internship opportunity, up to 10 hours per week.Opportunities:Collaborate with the marketing and community teams on community and social media strategy.Assist in the development and execution of community building strategies.Support the planning and coordination of a social media marketing calendar.Monitor and moderate our online community and Discord server.Own a branded social media account, interacting with users and responding to messages across various platforms.Create engaging content for social media platforms, blog posts, email newsletters, and other marketing channels.Serve as a liaison between community members, stakeholders, and staff.Qualifications:Experience engaging with and/or managing a community and social media accounts.Familiarity utilizing Discord and moderating a Discord community is a plus.Basic knowledge of social media marketing principles and concepts, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.Skilled in social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Passion for education, technology, and helping others succeed.Expected Compensation:$20/hr
