The role of the Social Media and Marketing Analyst is to ensure a digital presence for the GrayCo Properties portfolio. The entrant in this position will guide the portfolio teams on creating captivating and engaging social media content while creating marketing and outreach ides across all social media platforms and track the data to make recommendations on the best way to improve our online presence and make a positive impact for the Company. The person in this position will also conduct trainings for property staff on how to create content and social media strategies appropriate for each market.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Tracking, analyzing and reporting results (analytics from community websites; Google analytics; social media platforms) in order to provide weekly, quarterly and annual reporting analytics. Also track spending trends on marketing campaigns. Optimizing content for search engines & lead generation and drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence. Assist teams with outreach marketing as needed to boost occupancy, as well as planning Resident events and assist with promoting events. Help develop company-wide social media and reputation management policies and procedures; Devise and execute strategies to promote our online presence. Monitor and respond to our portfolio's review sites such as ApartmentRatings.com, Yelp, Google, Facebook, etc.; Work directly with onsite property managers to respond quickly to critical comments & reviews or company media platforms. Monitor & maintain our property level websites. Facilitate webinars teaching social media strategy; must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to properties across our portfolio to deliver training for team member's proper social media practices. Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success as well as the content and links posted through these and other channels. Work alongside our teams to help distribute content that educates and entertains our prospects and residents. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: This role requires an active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a knowledge and command of each network and their best practices.
Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales, Communications, or Advertising preferred. Demonstrated emotional IQ and the ability to handle stressful situations. Negotiation and conflict-management skills Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in advertising, social media management or similar experience. Generation marketing, inbound marketing, and blogging. Multifamily housing Social Media Experience is a plus.
