Skilled Tradesman Carpenter $34,272.00/Yr. Position Summary
The Skilled Trades Carpenter responds to general maintenance requests and performs preventive maintenance on the University Campus. This involves mostly carpenter jobs, however, you can help other crafts as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
You will repair or construct as needed anywhere on UCA premises. This includes properties off the main campus that are associated or owned by UCA.
You will work directly with other carpenters as well as under the supervision of a Foremen.
You will perform daily work order requests as well as other duties as assigned.
This is a weather essential position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ability to read work orders and carry out the required request.
The ability to read measurements and use carpenter tools

Required Education and/or Experience
Two years experience in Carpentry
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Preferred experience would be 5 years experience in carpentry.
Also, some experience working in an educational setting is a plus
