Skilled Laborer

Our growing company is looking for a hard-working and skilled concrete laborer to help bring our construction plans to life! Under our foreman's direction, you will work alongside a team of other skilled laborers and finishers, and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. You must have previous job-site experience, an OSHA10 card, and a great work ethic and physical stamina. If this sounds like you, apply now!Responsibilities:Construct and dismantle flatwork and wall formsReady building sites for concrete slabsPlace and configure reinforcement in footers, columns, and wallsAssist with the placement and pouring of concreteUtilize floats, towels, edgers, and jointers to finish surfaces of various sizesIncorporate preferred elevations, grades, and slants into the concrete finishing processCooperate with the team to ensure timely completion of dutiesQualifications:Need to be OSHA 10 certifiedEquivalent, GED, or high school diploma is required - Associate's degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferredSolid mechanical skills are needed, as are good eye-hand coordination and depth perceptionBoth physical stamina and physical strength are essentialOwn a valid driver's licenseCandidate must demonstrate proficiency in concrete curing processes and techniquesPhysical endurance to work in all weather conditionsHigh level of accuracy and commitment to delivering quality workExceptional communication and team collaboration abilitiesDedication to a strong work ethicPossession of a valid Driver's licenseOSHA 10 Certification or willingness to obtain itAbout Company:Ascend Concrete is a growing construction company, specializing in commercial concrete projects in the Pennsylvania region.
