Responsibilities
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities• Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship• Maintain construction schedule, identify and solve problems• Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary• Understand the project plans and specifications• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees• Prepare, schedule, and supervise completion of a final punch list• Promote job site safety and encourage safe work practices• Ensure adherence to company safety policy• Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a superintendent on similar projects• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats• Knowledge of contract compliance in government construction• Successful track record in engaging with subcontractors• Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and Windows• Must have an instructor-signed OSHA 30-hour training card• Must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in hazard identification and safety compliance• Must be capable of interpreting a critical path schedule and construction drawings• Must be a US Citizen• Must be able to pass a Federal background check
