We PUSH BOUNDARIES : Move beyond what is by challenging assumptions and embracing change WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE: The Showroom Associate's primary responsibilities are to provide stockroom support and customer service and help with the day-to-day operations of the showroom as assigned by senior management. Main duties will include fulfilling memo sample requests, handling mailing/shipping/receiving needs for samples and products, replenishing samples, and assisting designers on the showroom floor pertaining to scheming trims.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in organizing the stock room, including numerous trays of memo samples. Fulfill and ship all Chicago showroom and regional customer sample requests Daily stock checks and shipping transfers/orders Request product from inventory as necessary Assists with the display of new inventory in the Samuel & Sons showroom Replenishes stock and showroom supplies Assists with the performance of daily inventory audits Fulfill Outside Sales Associate sample requests and presentation packages as directed. Flex as a Design Consultant on the showroom floor for up to 50% of scheduled shifts Assists clients in trim selections Develop lasting client relationships Ability to establish and achieve individual sales goals REQUIREMENTS SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: Highly organized with the ability to multi-task Passion for design and a good sense of color Interest or background in Interior Design Solid communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to work in a team environment Requires ability to lift 20 pounds and climb a step ladder to access product on the sales floor Professional presentation College Degree/Certification preferred Samuel & Sons is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
