In addition the company has an office overseas which handles many of the technical and administrative support aspects of the business. Voadera is one of the fastest growing Ecommerce companies in the US and Voadera has aggressive growth plans to continue to expand its customer base by expanding partnerships with brands vendors and suppliers and most notably growing its own brand.

Job Summary:

This position is pivotal to driving the business forward. Without it we would face significant supply chain issues due to a lack of inventory entering our warehouse. The role requires daily shopping excursions aimed at acquiring as many products as possible while meeting the company s ROI standards. Additionally its crucial to ensure comprehensive coverage of the Minnesota outlets.
The role demands a strong work ethic to ensure we consistently secure the necessary inventory. Flexibility with working hours is essential as the job isnt confined to a strict schedule. Collaboration is also a key component; youll need to work closely with your shopping team coordinating effectively to ensure all stores are covered thoroughly.

Requirements Responsibilities:

Scan and analyze online and physical store sales clearance events and promotions daily.

Stay informed of upcoming sales going on in retail stores

Build and maintain relationships with store managers and employees to gain insights into upcoming sales and negotiate purchase terms.

Leverage loyalty programs to access exclusive deals and early sale notifications.

Calculate profit margins and ROI for potential deals to ensure profitability.

Use scanpower to analyze sales across the amazon platform to decide whether the deal is profitable or not.

Negotiate bulk buying opportunities with retailers for additional discounts.

Develop a logistics strategy for efficient transportation of goods from stores to the warehouse.

Track expenses related to purchases shipping and storage to maintain budget control.

Use data analysis tools to monitor sales velocity.

Report on buying activities including deals secured costs saved and profit margins.

Stay updated on legal and tax regulations related to retail arbitrage and ensure compliance.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with counterfeit goods returns and market fluctuations.

Explore new sourcing channels.

Implement technology solutions for inventory management and sales tracking.

Analyze regional market trends specific to Minnesota and tailor inventory to local demand.

Adapt buying strategies based on seasonal trends and consumer buying patterns.

Continuously seek educational resources to improve knowledge on market trends negotiation tactics and ecommerce platforms.

Ensure that we are buying enough inventory for at least 3 months of sales.

Make sure that all purchases meet company standards of ROI and sales velocity.

Have the ability to differentiate between stores that perform well and ones that do not perform well.

Maintain a continuous relationship with the store manager such as communication through phone to get bulk purchases or additional discounts .

Be in contact with all managers that you continuously shop at to make sure that you are up to date with all upcoming promotions.

Understand market trends and adapt accordingly.

Keeping track of all receipts from purchases.

Qualifications:

Experience in Retail or ECommerce : A solid background in retail ecommerce or related fields with specific experience or understanding of buying and selling dynamics preferably with a focus on Amazon.

Strong Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze market trends and calculate profit margins and ROI for potential deals with a strong emphasis on understanding Amazon s pricing strategies and fee structure

Excellent Negotiation and Communication Skills : Proficient in negotiating with vendors and building relationships to secure the best possible prices and terms for merchandise

DetailOriented and Organized: Capable of managing inventory records tracking expenses and organizing the logistics of moving goods efficiently with a keen eye on maintaining optimal stock levels for Amazon sales.

Proactive and SelfMotivated : Demonstrates initiative in identifying new opportunities and the drive to pursue leads independently with a continuous focus on optimizing listings and sales strategies on Amazon.

Adaptability and ProblemSolving Skills : Able to quickly adapt to changes in Amazon s marketplace. Navigate the complexities of Amazon s policies and seller guidelines.

Basic Financial Literacy : Knowledge of financial management principles relevant to running an Amazon storefront including budgeting financial reporting and understanding the impact of Amazon s fees on profitability.

TechSavvy : Comfortable using technology for inventory management utilizing tools for market research and price tracking specifically designed for Amazon sellers.

Benefits Salary : 19 $ /hour

Skills and Qualifications: Technically savvy with the ability to use various computer systems Experience with process optimization and project planning required High integrity, ethical, with ability to act with discretion in sensitive matters Strong interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Working experience in e-commerce with comprehensive understanding of supply chain management Familiar with start-up environment and have warehouse set-up experience Prior experience with lean or 6-sigma principles is preferred Strong desire to grow to Director or higher level with a growing company
