The core responsibility of our diesel technicians is to efficiently repair and maintain diesel engine industrial trucks, adhering to dealership and factory specifications.Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualities:Personable, reliable, and ethicalA problem solver with adaptability to various workforcesIntelligent and capable of effective communicationTechnical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairsStrong mechanical skillsGood understanding of equipment operations and mechanical functionsAbility to perform repairs on all major equipment systemsGood work habits and a commitment to safetyDemonstrated customer service orientationAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skillsGood computer proficiencyCommitment to company vision and missionRequirements:3-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment technicianMechanical experience, preferably on forklifts, construction equipment, or farm equipmentAbility to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical problemsBasic computer skills and laptop fundamentalsMust have own toolsResponsibilities: As a Shop Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:Completing all service jobs assignedDocumenting all recommended additional repairs and working with the Shop Foreman on preparing quotes for customersCommunicating with the Shop Foreman, Shop Lead, and/or Shop Manager on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance neededAttending service training classes to maintain knowledge on new products or for refreshers on products not encountered frequentlyCompleting and submitting all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (time cards, maintenance reports, etc.)Communicating with the Shop Foreman regarding the status of assigned jobsOffering assistance to other shop techs, as appropriateKeeping the shop clean and organized, promptly cleaning up spills (oil, etc.)Always adhering to safety rules and policiesCompensation: $25-$36/hr (based on experience) + BenefitsIf you are a skilled Equipment Technician with a commitment to excellence, adaptability, and strong mechanical skills, we invite you to apply.
