Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair LP propane, Electric forklifts of all makes and models• Perform planned maintenance on rental and customer forklift trucks• Perform pre-delivery inspections on new equipment• Maintain and ensure functionality of safety items on each forklift• Keep paperwork and records of each job• Keep shop and yard clean• Tag all equipment coming into the shop• Complete assigned tasks to contribute to effective operation of the service & repair department
Requirements
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills• Ability to follow established procedures and practices• Ability to read instructions• Previous automotive or equipment repair experience preferred• Own tools required
