POSITION PURPOSE: Performs shipping, receiving and invoice reconciliation duties for the Gulf Coast Asset Scheduler as required. This position is located at the plant in Darrow, LA.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : Successful and efficient shipment and receipt of product. Communicates and coordinates with customer service representatives, barge tankermen, tugboat and barge dispatchers, railroads, rail loaders, truck carriers, Veolia plant operations personnel, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of product. Tracks, traces and updates the status of all incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments. Invoice verification (verification of receipt) and payment initiation. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Must be able to answer the phone. Must possess speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone. Occasional visits to outdoor/plant areas. Qualifications Education / Experience / Background All applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Two-year degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent demonstrated and relevant experience. Experience and/or understanding of supply chain and logistics. Experience using Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.) or Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with SAP or equivalent Manufacturing Operations software. Experience in planning, organizing, and setting priorities to meet goals. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Strong math skills. Must be able to perform unit of measure conversions. Must be able to add and subtract fractions. Flexibility/Adaptability - Ability to adjust to changes in work tasks, situations, and processes Good organizational skills and a sense of urgency.
