Job Summary: Log all shipments and greet and sign-in guests. Receive all inbound manifests to ensure acceptability, accuracy, and quantity, shipping description, profile information and container quantity. Record all outbound shipments.
Essential Functions: The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Coordinating all traffic into facility Greeting and signing-in guests Working with drivers and visitors to the facility on a daily basis Evaluate manifests (shipping documents) upon arrival Work with plant personnel to coordinate all truck movements Logging and reviewing all inbound and out-bound shipments and papers Communicating with Clerical Supervisor and Customer Service regarding profile problems Scanning Manifest(s) into system. Maintaining various logbooks (Outbound log for liquids, solids, residual material on returning out-bound shipments, visitors, contractors, etc.) Primary data logging and manifest correcting (troubleshooting and editing) Typing; answering phones; filing; ability to multi-task Providing general support to supervisor and other department members Perform other related duties, as assigned Requires regular and punctual attendance Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel' and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must be able to lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must pass a drug screen. Must be able to come for callouts if needed. Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is moderately noisy.
A post offer drug screen will be required.
