The LTL Shipping supervisor plays a key role and is the main point of contact between the sales department, Fabrication Manager, and the Finishing department.
Responsibilities and Duties: This person will be responsible for being the main point of contact for LTL orders orders and making sure they are packaged complete. Will coordinate product flowing into and out of the Linings and Finishing Departments. Scheduling delivery dates, ordering delivery trucks, meeting delivery deadlines through supervision of production and work progress. Ability to plan and direct the work of the workforce and ensure objectives are being met. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate on all levels. (Fluency in Spanish is desired). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meeting all required deadlines. Strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs. Good understanding of safety and the desire to following all established procedures are required. Qualifications and Skills :
