Shipping Clerk POSITION – Shipping Coordinator
JOB LOCATION – Woodville, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift - M-Th 7:00am - 3:30pm F - 7:00am - 11:00am
STARTING PAY – $17/ hr
BENEFITS –
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED
Perform the following duties in the shipping department while maintaining accuracy and meeting the specifications of our customers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
• Count, wrap and pack parts accurately for shipping to customers using a variety of materials including, but not limited to plastic, paper and foam sheets.
• Count and weigh parts using digital weighing and/or counting scale.
• Record and accurately keep records of materials received and parts shipped.
• Perform packing requirements at rapid, steady pace meeting specification of customers.
• Able to pack parts by sometimes using heat sealed bagging and automatic banding machines.
• Responsible for accurately maintaining inventory through a computerized bar code system.
• Clean equipment as needed and keep work area orderly at all times.
• Check to insure that all safety procedures are followed.
• Operation of forklift is recommended, but not required, by employees in this area.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic reading and math skills required.
•Computer skills recommended.
•Must complete training as required for position.
•Forklift experience is helpful, but not required.
