Motivate, coach, and develop employees to achieve mine site production goals. Implement and hold accountable crew adherence and support of the HSLP and Environmental program and associated policies and procedures. Responsible for the safe and efficient use of mining and associated support equipment, including task training of mining and support equipment operators. Process, understand, and pursue the key objectives associated with mine production (production targets and associated cost constraints). Understand and follow engineering mine plans and engage in productive communication with the planning engineers and surveyors. Lead and mentor with the Newmont visions and values as the foundation for decision making Ensure all reporting is accurately completed in a timely manner (HSLP, CPI's, Environmental, daily shift log, HR, and crew documentation). Drive "Safe Work Performance" through clear and concise communication of associated safety procedures, appropriate tool use, and task training. Proficiently operate and engage the workforce in the accurate use of the MineStar Mine Management Control System. Responsible for developing future proficient equipment operators from within the crew. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
