Responsibilities
• Audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met• Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions• Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to management• Inspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specifications• Review and approve production samples and/or shipments as necessary• Assist management with implementation of 'Continuous Improvement' initiatives• Maintain records and perform routine clerical tasks• Coordinate production activities with other departments• Perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests• Ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED preferred• 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment• Basic knowledge of technology, including computers and software programs• Adequate oral and written communication skills• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload• Ability to lift and move heavy objects• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations• Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers and coworkers
