Job summary
The Service Writer serves as the central point-of-contact for all automotive service and repair matters.Responsibilities include listening and understanding customer problems, arranging service/repair solutions, and managing delivery expectations for customers and technicians.The Service Writer aims to earn repeat and new business by delivering quality service and repair work.

Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers• Communicating and connecting with Technicians to complete vehicle needs• Supervising bays and building repair orders• Delivering and discussing pricing estimates with customers• Promoting shop service specials and consulting/sales for vehicle needs• Leading, managing, and training a team• Meeting weekly and monthly goals• Vendor communication and relationship management• Ensuring facility cleanliness and organization• Other assigned duties
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED (advanced education desired)• Exceptional customer service and communication skills• Point-of-sale and electronic payment media skills desired• Sales experience desired• Collaborative nature• Current and unrestricted driver's license• Ability to operate a standard transmission• Strong work ethic and math skills• Automotive technical knowledge a plus
