Service Technician - Rep Corporation, REP was established over 100 years ago and is the leader in rubber injection technology and machinery, rep operates globally and REP Corporation is the sales and service Headquarters for the USA, Canada and Mexico. Our company continually strives to be the best in the industry with ongoing internal training for our team, as well as searching out the best candidates in the industry. Currently REP Corp. is interviewing candidates for an addition to our team to aid with installation and service of high-pressure injection machinery. We are looking for a Entry Level Service Technician primarily to work from the Kodak TN headquarters in the greater Knoxville area where there could be some travel to local customers. The successful applicant will work closely with our Senior Engineers to learn our trade. The focus will be to provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of new Injection machinery as well as diagnosing and repairing existing machines under the supervision of the Aftersales Manager and Senior Technical staff in our rebuild facility. The position will also require applicants to work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to diagnose and rebuild machinery under supervision and eventually on their own, this position has room for advancement depending on the individual. The successful applicants will work closely with our parts department to learn our system and to serve in a technical capacity. The objective of this position is to train a mechanical minded person to become a field service technician. Responsibilities: Provide on-site installation assistance, validation, and commissioning of REP machinery. Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs. Provide a level of technical support to the parts department. Interface with cross functional work teams such as Parts Department and customer service staff, management, and sales Create and maintain service records in the company database, look up parts from parts manuals, use our CRM to find parts to better serve the parts department in quoting. Timely complete and submit all required paperwork. Maintain an organized work area to include the warehouse and workshop. Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a service technician. Requirements and Benefits High school diploma or equivalent, trade school a plus. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Working with your hands and sometimes getting dirty. A strong interest in mechanics, hydraulics and electronics, and an interest in how things work.
