Service Technician- (Electrical, PLC/HMI, Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Mechanical) Tech Levels 3 or more years experience in maintenance, fabrication, equipment manufacturing and equipment repair. Basic Electrical motor controls experience. Ability to troubleshoot (Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical) issues. Excellent mechanical skills required. Estimated 60-75% travel time per year. Must provide own tools for infield work. Must have drivers License and have or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport. Service Technician Job Purpose: Serves customers by troubleshooting issues, providing solutions and parts and installing, servicing systems in the field, and providing products and support.

Service Technician Job Duties: Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems. Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests. Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements. Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed; such as taking service calls, look up parts, and entering parts and service sales orders, and refurbish equipment as needed and requested.
