Service Manager

Job summary
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Service Department and ensuring customer satisfaction.They will interpret and implement department policies and procedures, make recommendations for improvement, and review financial reports.The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and knowledge of equipment operations.

Responsibilities
• Interprets and implements Service Department policies and procedures• Makes recommendations for growing and improving the Service Marketing effort• Reviews financial reports on a monthly basis• Ensures sufficient work is processed to maintain a high level of retail work• Takes customer calls for field and shop work and dispatches Field Servicemen• Provides direction and leadership for professional technical services• Supervises the quality of work performed and conducts discussions with customers• Keeps Sales Department and management informed of progress on current jobs• Conducts regular service meetings and training sessions• Assists in determining service repair methodologies and job flows
