We have an immediate opening for an HVAC Service Dispatcher . This position requires someone who is a self-driver, able to spot problems and find solutions, someone who holds themselves accountable for a high-quality work product. If this sounds like you then we'd like you to apply!
Primary Job Function: Maintain the service technicians' daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed. Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in. Maintain the on-call schedule for service technicians. Maintain customer database with current information. Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees, and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead times. Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information. Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing and help with other general office duties.
Pay Scale: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Paid Holidays & Vacation, IRA with the Company Match, Paid Sick Days
Work Hours: 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, some overtime as needed
Required Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalent Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel Experienced in answering multiple-line phone system Prior dispatching, scheduling, process management, or project management experience required Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills Experience with mapping is a plus Knowledge of the HVAC Industry is a plus!
