Server Center System Administration III (Cleared) Location Aurora, CO : Systems Administration III Linux, Windows, and VMware Environment.
Location: Aurora, CO
Work Schedule: 5/40 schedule that includes 4 days Mon-Fri plus Saturday, (M-F schedule to be agreed to prior to start
Rate: $50 to $70 an hour with partial benefits
Clearance Requirement: Active DOD Secret Clearance
Impact:
Install and configure hardware and Operating Systems - Linux, Windows, and VmWare Accomplish daily health checks, monitor, and sustain the environment. Integration of Off the Shelf Products Troubleshoot Helpdesk ticket to resolution. Team Player who can independently find efficient and effective solutions Resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems. Current United States Department of Defense Secret Clearance Over 5 years of System Administration experience in combined Linux, Windows environments. VMWare, vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods. Linux, Windows & VMware fundamentals to include performance monitoring and optimization, troubleshooting, patching, and security hardening. Advanced knowledge and execution of Information System troubleshooting, documentation, scripting, patching, and automating systems across a matrixed architecture Desired Skill Sets: Server architectures upgrade, modernization documentation Data Backup and recovery Data Storage concepts and technologies DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP Education Required: Bachelor Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
